Save Me Dress Hire – Terms & Conditions

By placing an order with Save Me Dress Hire, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before hiring.


1. General

Save Me Dress Hire (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides short-term rental of garments. All hires are subject to availability and acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of booking applies to your hire.


2. Booking & Payment

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your hire.

  • Bookings are confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.

  • Prices are listed in AUD unless otherwise stated.


3. Hire Period

  • The hire period begins on the start date selected at checkout and ends on the return due date.

  • Dresses must be returned by the specified date. Late returns will incur late fees (see Section 8).


4. Shipping & Returns

  • Orders are shipped to arrive before your hire start date.

  • Return instructions will be included with your order.

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring the dress is returned on time using the provided return method.

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services once the item has been dispatched.


5. Fit & Responsibility

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to select the correct size.

  • Minor fit adjustments (fashion tape, clips) are allowed.

  • Permanent alterations, pinning, hemming, or modifications are strictly prohibited.


6. Cleaning

  • Do not wash or dry clean the dress yourself.

  • Standard cleaning is included in your hire unless the dress is returned excessively dirty or damaged.

  • Additional cleaning fees may apply if required.


7. Damage, Loss & Theft

  • Customers are responsible for the dress from delivery until it is returned and received by us.

  • Damage includes (but is not limited to): stains, rips, burns, missing embellishments, odours, or irreversible makeup marks.

  • If a dress is damaged beyond repair, lost, or stolen, the customer agrees to pay the full retail replacement cost.

  • Minor, repairable damage may incur a repair fee.


8. Late Returns

  • Late returns may result in fees charged per day late.

  • Continued failure to return an item may result in the full replacement cost being charged.


9. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Change-of-mind refunds are not available.

  • Store credit may be issued for cancellations made within an approved timeframe (if applicable).

  • No refunds or credits are given for late delivery caused by events outside our control (e.g. courier delays, weather).


10. Hygiene & Wear

  • Dresses must be worn with appropriate undergarments.

  • Fake tan, heavy makeup, body oils, perfumes, and deodorant stains should be avoided.

  • Excessive soiling may result in additional fees.


11. Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to:

  • Cancel bookings due to damage, quality concerns, or unforeseen circumstances.

  • Refuse future service if terms are repeatedly breached.


12. Liability

Save Me Dress Hire is not liable for:

  • Any allergic reactions, injuries, or issues arising from wearing hired garments.

  • Loss or damage caused by events beyond our reasonable control.


13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia, and any disputes will be handled in Australian courts.
